The commitment

Every Zykaz piece is designed without polyester, nylon, or acrylic as the primary fibre. This is our brand standard, applied across every collection and every season.

Materials we design with

Natural fibres — cotton, linen, silk
Regenerated cellulose (plant-derived, semi-synthetic) — modal, ecovero viscose, bemberg cupro
Blends of the above — e.g. linen ecovero (90/10)

Materials we exclude

Polyester
Nylon
Acrylic
Any petroleum-based synthetic as the primary fibre

A note on elastane

Select pieces may include a small percentage of elastane (typically 3–5%) where structural stretch is required for fit — for example in knit tops and fitted dresses. When present, elastane is disclosed on the product page under fabric composition. Elastane is not a primary fibre in any Zykaz piece.

Why we do this

Fast fashion has trained a generation to expect fabric that pills, squeaks, and ends up in landfill within a season. The Zykaz Fabric Standard is our answer — a commitment to natural and regenerated fibres that drape, breathe, and last.
